The Alex armchair, designed by Danilo Bonfanti for Biba Italia, is a piece that embodies contemporary comfort through elegant shapes, premium materials, and superior craftsmanship. Designed for prestigious residential and contract environments, Alex stands out for its refined style and exceptionally comfortable seat.

The frame is made of wood and plywood, padded with variable-density polyurethane and covered in 10 mm bonded resin, ensuring sturdiness, durability, and high performance over time. The plywood frame beneath the seat ensures stability and reliability even after years of use.

Comfort is one of the Alex armchair's strengths. The seat cushions are made of high-resilience HR polyurethane with a density of 30 and central pocket spring inserts, a solution that improves ergonomic support and makes the seat particularly soft and comfortable. The resin layer that envelops the padding contributes to an immediate sense of welcome.

The backrest is made of dust-free, washed, and sterilized natural down cushions, divided into horizontally separated chambers and complemented by a polyurethane insert to ensure proper back support. The armrest cushions are also padded with 100% treated natural down, offering enveloping comfort and a quality that is noticeable from the first use.

The design is enhanced by the elegant 17 cm high Anthracite finish feet, a detail that lends visual lightness to the structure and underscores the modern character of the collection.
